WHAT your Role in Tasks Matrix of Production-like Project
At edXOps® Hybrid Bootcamp, the duties of a project team members can be summed up as the contribution of overall project objectives and completion of individual deliverables. Your role is selected for the right components because you have particular and professional skills that are required to complete project tasks.
PRODUCT OWNER/PRODUCT MANAGER
The Product Owner may be asked to define the Product vision, Problem statements and scenarios, Product roadmaps, Epics, and User Stories, Supporting documents, images, and, possibly, rough wireframes for user stories.
PROJECT MANAGER
The Project Manager plays the chief part in the project and is responsible for its success and quality. His or her job is to make sure that the project proceeds and completes within the specified time frame and the ascertained budget, and accomplishing its goals at the same time.
SCRUM MASTER
The Scrum Master works more as a conduit between product/line-of-business owners and development teams as a project manager. He or she is responsible for creating and onboarding project teams, integrating them into the organization, providing a clear vision of the product, monitoring project progress, providing timely feedback, and driving a culture of agility.
SOLUTION ARCHITECT
A solution architect plays an important role in the software development cycle; gathering requirements and designing or modifying systems architecture, testing, integrating, and programming software systems to meet certain business needs as well as ensuring that specific business issues are solved.
BUSINESS ANALYST
The business analyst recognizes the requirements of the organization and suggests solutions to the problems. In a project team, they make sure that the current project’s objectives can solve existing problems and add value to the organization. Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions. Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies
DATABASE ENGINEER
Database Engineer is designing, develop and deliver/implement data solutions to include: architecture design, prototyping of concepts to proof of concept, development of standards, design, and development of test plans, code and module design, development, and testing, data solution debugging, design and implementation of a solution that follows efficient design techniques and development that meets and exceeds the intent of the design of the data solution.
UI/UX DESIGNER
UX design refers to user experience design, while UI design stands for user interface design. Both of these are gathering and evaluating user requirements, in collaboration with product managers and engineers Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps Designing graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets.
SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER
Develops information systems by designing, developing, and installing software solutions. Software Engineer Job Duties: Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEER
Creation of test designs, test processes, test cases, and test data. Carry out testing as per the defined procedures. Participate in walkthroughs of testing procedures. Prepare all reports related to software testing carried out. Ensure that all tested related work is carried out as per the defined standards and procedures.
QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER
Defining quality standards and metrics for the current project/product. Working with all stakeholders to ensure that the quality metrics are reviewed, closed, and agreed upon. Make the QA team aware of the Quality matrix and resolve all the queries. Create a list of milestones and checkpoints and set measurable criteria to check the quality on a timely basis.
CUSTOMER SUPPORT OFFICER
Greeting guests, answering to phone calls, identifying customer issues, suggesting solutions, referring customers to other departments when necessary, maintaining records, measuring customer satisfaction, and reporting to managers.
